The airplane is one of the three modern transportaiton means (car, train & airplane). It is currently the fastest means of transportation. A journey of a few thousand miles can be reached within a few hours via this mode of transportation. In ancient times horsre-drawn carriage traveling thousands of miles required several months. 

With this build project, students will have a better understanding of the structure, parts, the power the plane is generated from as well as the difference between single engine and multi engine planes. 

All that is required for this build is a small pair of scissors and 2 x AA batteries.
