F1 IN SCHOOLS is a unique technology challenge that involves the construction of a 1/20th-scale CO2 Formula One (F1) racing car out of balsa wood using Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing technologies and a CNC router. This standards-based challenge seeks to raise the profile of engineering among young people and give them access to the latest technology in the engineering and manufacturing world.
