The Hands-On Science and Technology series is an instructional program for teachers of grades 1 to 6 science. Based on recent research in science education, Hands-On Science and Technology assists teachers in developing students’ scientific literacy through active inquiry, problem solving, and decision-making. The resource guide also offers a comprehensive and authentic assessment plan that focuses on the Achievement Levels outlined in the Ontario Science and Technology Curriculum.
