Drones and STEM are… an ideal pairing. Pretty much every high priority STEM concept is reinforced when kids engage in this DIY drone building project. In this class pack each group (or student) will receive enough materials to build their own Drone. Most drone kits are plug and play which often leaves out any chance for a primitive understanding of how drones actually work. This kit allows students to build a drone from scratch using tongue depressors, mini dc motors, two blade props and a 4.5v power supply. 

Provided in this kit are platforms made of hole plates and large dowels that will act as a guide for your Drone so that they can be tweaked and manipulated in their trial stages. Each student will discover through inquiry-based learning how to build an active and stable drone. Some gluing, wire stripping and basic drilling involved.
